Thread: Kindle Fire/Amazon App Store Issue

    I talked with Amazon on the phone for 20 minutes, then got connected to an "App Store Specialist", who had me force-kill the App Store app. Which doesn't fix the problem, and I told her that the next day when she called back. At that point she said "contact the developer".

    I am still waiting for a response from Playrix on this. This has been going on for months, I think at least three updates ago.

    Seriously? Who posts that they have a solution, but not what the solution is?

    I have the Amazon Fire 10. I did a lot of research and heard that sometimes Amazon's version was slower to be updated than the google play version. I'm not sure if that's true or not, but seeing as I had been playing on an android phone I decided to look into installing google play on the Fire....

    ***Do this at your own risk...

    I searched and found a number of sites that explained you need to download 4 files, and that would install google play. Once I did it, I was able to log into the game with google play and I was playing the same town as I had on my phone. I haven't had a problem yet...

    I've had this problem for so long I can't even recall when it started.
    I just got used to emptying the cache which seemed to work for a while until the same thing happened again.
    It's been much worse of late, happening several times a day some days.....since we had the black screen carry on.

    My Kindle Fire 6 (4th gen) has the same problem when playing Township. It often occurs during or right after I'm watching the movie director's screening (the ads), preventing my town from receiving the coins or T-cash.

    I have a Kindle Fire HD 8 (5th generation). Since I began playing Fishdom, I've gotten an 'Amazon Appstore required' error message. This is been happening much more frequently lately. Also, for the past few weeks I've been unable to watch ads and earn diamonds. When I push the button the screen goes blank, pauses for a few seconds, and then returns me back to the aquarium. And yesterday I noticed that despite passing levels I wasn't earning coins, vouchers, or power ups when playing the treasure chest levels because there were no regular levels left. I've written Playrix and they send me a blanket response about making sure I have a Wi-Fi connection, have updated the game, etc. I don't think they even read them. It's very frustrating. If anyone has any information to help me I'd really appreciate it. Thank you.

    Sorry for keeping you waiting for the update on the situation.

    We have thoroughly investigated this issue and found no technical problem on the game's end. Kindly contact Amazon Customer Support service, they'll do their best to solve this issue.

    It would be really great if you guys could share the solution they come up with to help out other Townshippers on Kindles.
