    quick time filler tasks

My question to coop leaders and hardcore racers is why do you say racers must only do tasks of 135? Is it not a good idea for example to say do a quick animal feed task while you fill up your helicopter or plane orders if you know that task is available? I'm a bit of a newbie trying to understand your strategies.

    Hi Happylady

It all depends on the objectives of the co-op you are in. A co-op wishing to climb the leaderboard need to make those 135 points in order to increase their "average". A co-op not interested in the leaderboard may be looking for one of the top 3 positions in the race. In that case, the more 135 points tasks they do, the better the chance of winning the race. Some co-op are more interested in winning gold coins and will be looking for a place in the 4th to 6th position.

It all comes down to the goal and how strong are the other co-ops in your race.

Another thing to add...a team that just wants first place and doesn't care about leaderboard guarantees themselves first place by racing perfect (all 135's) as fast as they can. And a team like that doesn't care about the dump penalty, so they can just keep dumping all non 135's. They also typically will dump all planes/trains and any other long time tasks even valued at 135 to move as quick as they can.

    All that dumping sounds boring.

Dumping is thrilling. Imagine the anticipation of watching the countdown timer approach 0 while you hope for a 135 mining task. The crushing blow when a 97 point milk task is revealed. The excitement when you realize there's 3 more task slots counting down. It's like hoping for the 7 of diamonds to fill the inside straight at the casino.

Seriously, given how many people complain that the tasks themselves are repetitive and boring, dumping tasks may be the most exciting part of all this

And really seriously, I agree with Melissa, we've done fast racing together and it's fun (but tough on my t-cash hoard).

Why does dumping equate to boring? Lol. I've fast raced in the past and its quite fun! Dont knock it till you try it.

In the gold league there is a penalty for dumping tasks that only affects your leader board position. It does not affect your regatta score at all

    What is the dump penalty?

Hi, it is only taken into consideration for placement on the leaderboard and bears no relevance on the actual race results. The penalty is the total number of tasks dumped divided by the number of racing members.
