Dumping is thrilling. Imagine the anticipation of watching the countdown timer approach 0 while you hope for a 135 mining task. The crushing blow when a 97 point milk task is revealed. The excitement when you realize there's 3 more task slots counting down. It's like hoping for the 7 of diamonds to fill the inside straight at the casino.

Seriously, given how many people complain that the tasks themselves are repetitive and boring, dumping tasks may be the most exciting part of all this

And really seriously, I agree with Melissa, we've done fast racing together and it's fun (but tough on my t-cash hoard).

Hi Charlie! Hope all is well with you! Yes, I miss the fun of the good old days of just racing fast to the finish line. Going for leaderboard and having to take all 135's and watch every dump is what's truly boring! Some days, It's like watching paint dry. But, it's what you need to do to make it there, rise and stay there.

And I totally concur there's a lot of fun in the anticipation of the refresh!

    Cool The penny has dropped!

I get it now. After the long discussions on the new coop members thread, many of you tried to explain to me about doing the 135s, opting out etc and were so helpful but now I actually see it. I set up on my own, started at the bottom, came 2nd in the regatta and moved up to the next league. Even more chuffed with myself when someone joined me from my old coop. Now I'm on my 9th and final task, did the highest value one like you all suggested, excited to move on up....you guessed it. My team mate is still on her first, didnt start till the 2nd day. I'm in 5th place and doesnt look like I'll end up any higher unless I use tcash and pay to do more tasks myself. Forgive my slow brain, I now understand, I am racing against other teams of two and both their racers are actually doing their tasks. You're probably looking at this and thinking Duhh!!!! If it took me this long to understand it there may be others out there who are buggering up your stats too. Hopefully me sharing my idiocy might help you serious racers. X

Good for you!!! My advice to you going forward is to dump all low value tasks and only take high valued tasks that you can do relatively quick (avoid trains/planes). You can totally do this without the use of tcash. Set goals for yourself and keep upping the bar. In no time you will see that you can complete all tasks at 135.

I've come across many who didn't think they could do it, until they tried. Once you figure it out, it's not that hard. You can do it!!!
