If you don't complete it you don't get to keep it saldy. It states it if you check your stats under the rooms tab.

For me, the main objective is the reward more than the office. I guess we could open the office from time to time and redecorate.

My town must be very poor that we have not been able to update our telephones since the 1980s.

Perhaps there will be a new set of achievements. Perhaps there will be a new profile picture for the IV achievement. Perhaps some of us never outgrew playing with Colorforms.
