cant claim chests from regatta rewards

hi guys

new here so please be nice

so my co op and i just finished the regatta and got 7 out of 9 chests but for the life of me i cant claim the chests

i go to race tab and click on the chests in the bottom corner and it states 7/9 , but when i click on the chest in the bottom corner it say wait for next regatta and the chest its self seems to ge greyed out

does anyone have any suggestion why this is occouring

That was my first thought also, but pete said:

and when I go to the race tab and click on the chest bottom right, the Rewards tab with the chest opens, and when I click on a chest, it says rather clearly to wait for the end of regatta, not the next regatta:

even the text for the greyed out chests is different.

This is for the current regatta for Android/IOS/Kindle (not sure about Mac?).

so, Pete, which operating system do you play, and IS there a current regatta?
and if so, maybe you misinterpreted the text..?
