For now I made a small modification to my feed mills. The first two stay the same.

1 is used for bacon and honey. 4 bags each
1 is used for eggs and wool : 6 bags for eggs and 2 for wool

I changed my milk feed mill. It went from 6 bags for milk and 2 bags for wool to :
4 bags for milk, 2 bags for wool and 2 bags for mushrooms.

Milk is done in a few minutes if I want to collect more then 12.

I never keep bags in my barn and have no intention of changing that.

    FWIW

Feed Mill 1: 6 cow 2 bee on shelf, 6 cow pending.
Feed Mill 2: 6 chicken, 2 bee on shelf, 6 chicken pending.
    Feed Mill 3: 2 mushroom,3 pig,3sheep, nothing pending.
In barn (previously nothing): 2 bags mushroom, 1 bag pig, 1 bag sheep.

Mine are all spread put across the three buildings.

Each barn has 2 cow, 2 chicken, 1 pig, 1 sheep, 1 bee feed filling 7 shelves. The 8th shelves were filled withe one extra bag of bee feed in one, sheep in another, and pig in the third. I have no idea why I settled on this system. I guess I'm still good in case one of the feed mills catches fire, like the barn in the bogus Township ads.

With the addition of mushrooms, they now occupy the eight shelf in each Mill and I have to keep one extra pig, sheep, bee, and mushroom feed in the barn. It's similar to what I needed to do before, when my mills only had 7 shelves, except now it's 12 barn spaces instead of just 9.

I have my feeds as below

    Feed mill 1 ... 4 sheep, 2 chicken and 2 cow
    Feed mill 2 ... 4 bees, 2 chicken and 2 cow
    Feed mill 3 ... 4 pigs, 2 chicken and 2 cow.

The chicken and cows are used most and easy to get.
Now with the mushrooms, I will take sheep feed out and set up the substrate. Once that’s finished the sheep go back in.
The only difference is I now have the substrate in the barn which I didn’t have before.

I am also thinking that we have to upgrade our mushroom farm.

I don’t either, and won’t change that, unless in the future things change so im forced to, which Playrix are good at doing

I am enjoying the new mushroom farm. Although, it needs to be tweaked to give us a few more mushrooms, overall I don't have a problem with it. I prefer to have more farms, factories, and a lot more recipes to juggle. The logistics of gathering resources and making sure I am keeping track of all the products is what I enjoy more about this game. To me its better than getting a community building and house to build. Once you build those there is nothing else to do.

So I say more and more factories, farms, recipes!
