(eww, a rat?! I'll have to look up, why they are so admired. For now, I'll stay with the mouse idea for my town; they're at least a little cute.)

Yes they seem to have followed that theme from the start.

The rat actually signifies prosperity and bounty, so not so bad.

My brother had a pet rat for a while. They aren't really scary. It did bite my sister on the finger once, though.

Bounty does have several meanings. The one I meant was plenty, good things in large quantities as in "nature's bounty"

Thank you Dreadnought for the regularly early infos. As I‘m always curious about the new decorations this is very helpful

It‘s always interesting to learn new vocabulary. So could one say „we have a bounty of (ugly) large buildings in Township“ e.g.?

Back to the decoration, I‘m very pleased that the Tree of Lights returned, although it‘s quite expensive to complete it, but I really miss these tiny little Chinese houses, it would be great if they could become a regular decoration.
