Since this week's new event Jungle Quest my township event sign keeps having a little notification on it saying how many days/hours are remaining. This wasn't here before, and it's really annoying. Is there a way to get rid of it?

The only way I found is opening it shortly, then the news inside isn't "new" anymore. But it's only a very short relief, then the little truck comes back.

If you figure out how to get rid of it maybe it’ll work for the vibrating Wildscapes ad in the upper left too.
