Why is it always daytime and sunny?

How awesome would it be to see the moon and stars?

It absolutely amazes me that our crops grow so consistently well even though it never rains.

I would love to see Township at night, and with rain. (I will give props that we do get snow in winter).

Nevada! Your Picture Is Now Only a Thumbnail.

Anyway you can make it large again? Am posting a link to it in a comment in the TS Family group.

    Thx!

It really shouldn't be. The day and night should correspond to the location of the town we were in at that time.

I have played a game that did have day and night, though it never got as dark as Nevada's picture. Torches did come on, though. There were even crops we could only harvest at night time.

The problem was their day night cycle seemed to be shorter than 24 hours, so it was usually out of synch with my day and night. I remember once night time came back only about 8 hours later than it had ended in my game. Even though a bit buggy, it was such a cool effect I didn't care.

A night modus works fine in games without the possibility of visiting others.
The night modus has then the function of making visual that time is passing by.

But the issue with our game is indeed that with having players in so many timezones it is very very though to create a working night modus.
And good working would mean that sunlight/moonlight is switching off and on jumping from friends town to friends town.
That is also the reason why we don't have separate seasons in the different parts of the real world.
Even if you celebrate Christmas under an Palm tree your town will be snowy white till Valentine's update.

A night modus during Halloween would mean 6 or 8 weeks playing in the dark with the possibilities developers have at the moment.
    It indeed looks awesome
