09.04 The Age of Knights Regatta Season is LIVE

    Ahoy, Yachtsmen!

The Age of Knights Regatta Season is in full swing βšœπŸ‘‘

Mystery tasks come in handy β€” you always get the max number of points and more tokens for the Yacht Club than from other tasks!

Do you guys usually enjoy Mystery tasks or avoid them?

Anna: I personally love the mystery task! It's like Forrest Gump's mom said, "Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you're going to get," and that is what makes the mystery Task so fun (LOL). Ok, I am on a "movie line high" today, going to go play my game

Yeah, boxes of chocolates are great until you accidentally get the (complete waste of calories that is the) Turkish Delight and then its "Run, Forrest, ruuuuuun!" to go spit it out.

Mystery tasks are exactly like that, except you've kinda got to swallow whatever mouthful you get.

However, they're still easier than similar 'regular' tasks for 135 points.

I do like Mystery tasks. And the fact that by the end of Regatta you can't get a task that requires more time than is left. Though I have to admit that my faves are combo tasks πŸ˜‹

    Get out.

    Mystery tasks are awesome, though.

Yeah, so when you get one you like, it's extra brilliant! In fairness, if your town is well prepared then the chances of getting something truly awful are pretty slim, so I still do them unless I really can't afford to be flexible for some reason. There's definitely something to be said for occasionally getting something you wouldn't normally choose in a mystery task. Stops you getting stuck in a regatta-rut.

No comment. Just some wincing and maybe a few pained squeaky noises, lol.

I'm a sucker for a coin task, myself.

...and that is why I make sure I know which chocolate I buy! LOL

and delete all mystery tasks, no matter the timing.

(in the smaller coop at least. In the bigger Coop are some enthusiasts, of course...)

Yea guys, I guess if the chocolate taste like a lamp, silk, or rubber, not to good (lol), I think it's the excitement of "oh, ah, what will it be" -- who knows, maybe I got "Christmas Issues" (I'll bring it up in Therapy next week )... Anna I love those combo task too, during off week, I am in combo heaven bliss, so laid back, put my boat on cruise picking my task and I work on my tan kicked back with a stiff drink (LOL). I like the mystery tasks too. It's a little bit casino feeling without the risk of loosing real money, even if it would be silk or rubber growing (but until now I haven't ever seen one), I need so much rubber and silk.
