There is a far more humane way to get red paint and still work with ladybugs.

Who knows the red M & M's secret?
Indeed, it comes from ... lice!
And ladybugs are great farmers when it comes to lice.
    They milk them regularly!
So no damage to that sweet little beetle.

Does this solve your problem, cdos?

Ok let me clarify I never thought they’d be grinding up the ladybugs! The post said “Cute Farm” so I’m thinking the ladybugs are like collecting berries in a little pail or something like the bumblebees. And eww to the whole lice thing.

Is it just me, or did this whole thing take a serious turn for the macabre?

So I shouldn't bring up splicing spider genes into the sheep to get a really strong wool? It works for goats and "milk silk".

I guess the inspiration for fishes in the mine was found in 'Finding Nemo'
Just watch the part where the Seagulls give a clue about where to find that cute little fish

    Hey Townshippers,

We hope that you enjoyed our April Fools' joke! No ladybugs, fish or spiders were harmed during the making of this prank. But what if some part of it was true, though... 🤔

Will have to find a good magazine to read instead
    No-no-no, can't let that happen! 🍿😸

Any resemblance to reality is purely coincidental, Ruud 🐠 But I agree, it's a perfect match!

ETA: LOL, Lea! hey, in any case I can complain that they had time to make (at least 2) fake pictures !
All I wanna know is...How do you input those cute animated emojis?! (yes...I be jelly here! )
