For every THOUSAND levels, there should be a BIG award. That's a huge milestone and shows a major commitment to the game. I'm thinking like 10 of everything (free lives, boosters, etc.) and 1,000 coins and 1,000 green dollars.

I had the same idea. I was thinking something small/ medium for every 500 levels, and something nice for every 1000.
