    I just close my game and seem to have lost the update message for now.

    I totally shut down and restarted but still get the update box.

    I just got reply from support in game. They will try to fix this issue as soon as possible.

    I got the update, got that same message as everyone here. Just cancel did the trick...
    The annoying thing is:
    -when I went back to my game after posting helpdesk...
    - after every vid at heli guy...
    - just during the game...
    ... the same message pops up

    iOS got a bug fix today 6.3.8 - I notice Android and Kindle mention in this post they have 6.3.7 - so maybe there is an additional update for you folks.

    The announcement mentions that as the latest version for iOS and 6.3.7 for Android.

    EDIT: I cleaned the game's cache and the message seems to have stopped popping up.

    Android 6.3.7 and iOS 6.3.8 are the same update. For whatever reason we just get an extra number ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    Okay, I don't know if this is helpful for anyone, but here's what I just had.

    Went to open TS. It yelled at me I needed to update, so I pressed update, and it took me to the app store.

    Township in the app store said "open".

    So I backed out to the app store home page ("Today" or whatever), and hit search.

    Searched for township. Clicked on township. "Update" button was there.

    Town now loads normally.

    Well, it's now working normally for me on Android. No action whatsoever on my part. I assume it was some piece of data on their server that was incorrect and they fixed it there.

    Just for grins I followed Nevada's steps and there is no update for me on Google Play. It says I (auto)updated 12 hours ago to 6.3.7
