1st Place Prices In Golden League

Hi! I’m seeking information about what rewards come with getting 1st place in the golden league regatta. Two other co-op members and I always complete 16 tasks worth 135 points each, the other members never do, and we rarely get in the top 3. It’s frustrating for the 3 of us who put in maximum effort every week and not get rewarded, and we would really like to know what the rewards are for coming in 1st in golden league. Are they that much better than coming in 3rd or even lower? Are there cool boosters or anything? We’re not that interested in getting that trophy or statue or whatever it is to put in your town, we’re wondering about boosters, tcash, and building materials. Thanks!

I have 25 screenshots from 1st-3rd place finishes dating back to June 2017 (10 first place, 6 second place, 9 third place). As I won them, I never really noticed a difference between the quality for 1st-3rd (except for the known difference in tokens), but now that I’ve typed them all out, I guess I do see that there is a small increase in the quantity of each item you get: Third place (2-3 of most things), Second place (3-4 of most things), First place (5-6 of most things). I’ve received boosters for 1st and 2nd place finishes (I swear I got one for a 3rd place finish once but I can’t seem to find a screenshot of that). Otherwise, the variety of items seems pretty consistent across all 3 positions. I’ve received “useless” brick/glass/slab for 1st place finishes while receiving desperately needed saws, axes, barn tools for 3rd place finishes. So looking back on these rewards, I consider some of the prizes I got for 2nd/3rd to be better than the ones I got for certain 1st place finishes, and vice versa (For ex: received larger tcash rewards for 1st place finishes). It just depends on what kind of items I needed at the time.

These are the bonus rewards received for my Top 3 racing position finishes listed in chronological order from 2017 to now (this does not include the prizes earned in the 9 possible rewards chests):

    2nd place: 3 rubies, 4 hammers, 4 bricks, 40 tokens
    3rd place: 2 slab, 3 TNT, 3 pruning sheers, (interseasonal=no tokens)
    1st place: 5 pruning sheers, 13 Tcash, 7 TNT, (interseasonal=no tokens)
    3rd place: 7 pickaxes, 3 saws, 2 nails, (interseasonal=no tokens)
2nd place: See the Light mining booster, 3 axes, 7 Tcash, (interseasonal=no tokens)
    3rd place: 2 paint, 7 pickaxes, 3 axes, 30 tokens
    3rd place: 3 slab, 3 shovels, 3 paint, 30 tokens
    2nd place: 3 glass, 7 Tcash, 4 hammers, (interseasonal=no tokens)
    3rd place: 3 glass, 3 shovel, 3 paint, 30 tokens
    3rd place: 3 hammers, 3 glass, 3 silver ingots, 30 tokens
    2nd place: 4 paint, 3 rubies, 4 saws, 40 tokens
    1st place: 5 slab, 6 hammers, 5 platinum ingots, 50 tokens
    3rd place: 3 duct tape, 3 paint 2 shovels, (interseasonal=no tokens)
    1st place: 13 Tcash, 6 hammers, 7 dynamite, 50 tokens

    1st place: 5 hammers, 9 Tcash, 4 slab, (interseasonal=no tokens)
    1st place: 4 gold bars, 10 pickaxes, 4 duct tape, 50 tokens
    3rd place: 3 nails, 3 axes, 2 dynamite, 30 tokens
1st place: See the Light mining booster, 3 rubies, 6 slab, 50 tokens
    1st place: 13 Tcash, 5 glass, 7 TNT, 50 tokens
    1st place: 5 platinum ingots, 6 axes, 7 dynamite, (interseasonal=no tokens)
2nd place: 4 shovels, Popular Passion zoo booster, 7 Tcash, 40 tokens
1st place: 7 TNT, Super Harvest crop booster, 5 platinum ingots, 50 tokens

Not the advice you asked for, but there are plenty of competitive coops where 16 X 135 is expected and maybe you and your two teammates would be happier in one of them, or happiest in your own new coop.

The higher your ranking, the more worthy prizes are. The first time you do so, you recieve a Golden Sail Trophy to place in your town.

Hi, I'm not adding to the info above regarding freebies given for gold places, but Somewhere I'm missing a trick !! The maximum score any team can achieve is 2160 (16x135) ...whether you are a singeton or a group of 30 . Then you can acquire bonus points for position in the race (top score 50) then an added bonus for team members ( with 30 you are awarded an additional 30 points)
My maths makes that a maximum score of 2160+50+30 = 2240, multiply by two to give your 'running total' of 4480 to count in the global position..
Can someone please explain how more than 150 teams have scored above that, there must be an additional bonus available somewhere that I've never seen. Please explain for I'm perplexed.
