Can someone explain please why our 2 person wooden league co op cannot reach the last chest even if we both buy the 8th task? Why offer it if it's impossible to reach?

I’m guessing it’s to encourage you to have a larger co-op. I’ve read that you need at least four members to reach all the chest. So this is just my guess. It is aggravating though.
