Updating Profile Pic

This has probably been discussed before, but I honestly do not have the time to roam through all previous posts, sorry.
I am using my Facebook profile pic as my pic.
But whenever I change my FB profile, it takes forever to update the pic in Township.
Why is that?
I have tried disconnecting from FB, emptying the tablet cache, restarting the tablet.
But I always end up with the old FB profile pic.
How do I get it updated??

What platform do you play on?

If you're on iOS, there are some things you can try here.

If not, the avatar should update on its own (force a FB sync) when the game updates.

Nope, I am on Android.

Change your facebook profile picture.
In your phone settings, go to Apps, find Township and click on it, click storage, Clear Data. (This should clear the cache as well).
Log into your township. And connect to Facebook. You should be able to get the updated profile picture.

Works with mine instantly.

Thank you, but that is the first thing I did.
I am using an Android tablet. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.
I restarted the tablet too, tried deactivating the FB link in the game, reactivated it.
But that same old profile pic keeps returning!

If you go into FB and find your old profile photo and mark it as anything but “public,” the game will update with the new profile pic soon. I had this problem for several weeks and this was the only way I was able to update it on the game.
