    Question Co-Op Symbols and Meaning

What does the red circle with line through it symbol mean next to my Co-Op members' names: IMG_0273.jpg

In the game settings there is the option to "Display online status". If they have this ticked, you'll see a grey/green dot by their name. If they untick it, you get this symbol. They've chosen to hide whether they're online or not.

This means that the player unticked “Display Online Status”.

Why would someone choose not to display their "online status"? I always check to see who else is online. It saves having to type "Is anyone here?"

And it's very handy when a player doesn't chat. You can see when they are online and try to engage them in conversation.

I think it’s because they don’t want to chat or a5 least not every time the6 are online.
Also some people are very private and don’t want others seeing how often the6 are online.
I don’t mind personally but I guess it’s personal preference.
