Problems After September 7th Update (iOS/Android/Kindle)

Exactly the same here. And still the same after complete shut down.

What would be the best indicator to know you have the update? Was there some newspaper for example?

lol, whatever you say, M'lady! I force stopped everything, rebooted - still only "open".
I'm also not hindered to visit your town, btw, which I remember from having different versions.
Strange.


ETA: Cathy, just saw your post - there wasn't an official announcement here yet either (only for the new Gardenscapes version), not even for "IOS version today, the rest later", as last time.

Yes there was a newspaper and a 5 T-cash gift. Another thing to check is in the decorations. Look for the new Town Sign. It should appear in that section right away.

They solved that problem many updates ago. We can visit friends even if do not have the latest update.

So it definitely said it would update, installed the stuff, and then I got ... nothing, nada, zilch.
Hm, and now what ...

Graylady is correct - the update will have a newspaper and a 5 Tcash gift. There is no announcement about new land - you have to find it on your own. The waterfall in the sneak peek is only available in the Zoo at Level 45. As Graylady says, only the new Town sign is any indication that you have a new update. Oh, and the 3 new collections in the Archeological Museum are actually only 2 - one has gone missing. LOL
