Explanation of Seasonal Regatta Symbols

A friend of mine that plays Township wanted me to ask this:

"What does the blue and white checkered flags mean and why they only appear on certain
tasks?"

Also what do you use the blue tokens for? Is this the Co-Op Tokens or a player's tokens.

These flags indicated tasks specific with the seasonal regattas.

A regular task without the flag give less tokens (14 for a 135 points task)
A task with the flag give more tokens (17 for a 135 points task)
A ? Task is a mystery task, always 135 points and always 25 tokens.

Tokens are earned by players, not by co-op. Each player can spent them as he wish. Tokens are spent in the yacht club on decorations or helpful items.

That means that task is a "seasonal" task. As in it wasn't encountered until now in usual regattas, and when the season changes, so will those tasks (presumably). They also have a higher number of tokens as reward than usual tasks.

The tokens are used to purchase items from the yacht club. Such as decorations, gems, boosters, etc. They belong to the player and can be used until the end of the season (1 month).
