It's to alert you that you are about to delete your own, active task. There have been quite a few complaints from people who accidentally trashed their active task when they meant to dump something...

I am loving the decorations this season (and the island upgrade coupon!)! I came into this season with 550 coupons carried over, and, boy am I glad I saved all those :).
