Force quit and a restart here and it brought Verne back.

In my experience, if this just happens after an update and shows up with you try to go to the CO-OP chat box, a simple force quite and restart usually resolves it.

Updated on MacOS here and no banning.

And now the Transport Magnate is gone and things have gone back to normal. No "Please Wait" and no pause.

Yep! They just added the "Please Wait" to notify you of the pause while the Transport Magnate registers the order. No big deal, it will go away when the mini-game is over.

I can scroll the market fine after updating. Make sure they report the issue!

It happened before with all other Transport Magnate events, it just didn't say "Please Wait". It just paused.
