Do you play on Windows or a mobile version?

Mine (ipad) isn't showing events that far in the future yet.

Ich spiele die mobile Version unter Android,aber selbst in der Kindle Version bei meiner Freundin wird es schon angezeigt, die sind eigentlich immer die letzten,die Neuerungen erhalten🤔

It's showing on mine (iOS) now too. Before, the event list stopped even before the fruit slicing event and just said something vague like more coming.

Excited to see the upcoming events for the next two months!!! I've heard possible new skins for the train with professor's experiments, maybe a bullet train?! And the spinning wheel again for tropical blends, maybe they finally make the giant watermelon available!

I’m hoping we can expect the event to be exactly the same as it was the first time it was dropped, including the $5.99 gold pass and the many benefits that came along with it. I haven’t seen anything yet regarding any changes. I have been saving all my gems since the last event so I can run more boosters this time around. If it is the same, I’m going to prioritize the ‘generous market’ perk and load up on buying bulk ore from the dealer again. The last event allowed me to buy roughly 2000 of each ore type and I got all my factories upgraded to two extra item slots.

Any other ideas to prepare for the event? Thoughts ?

Last round, I found normal game play was enough to earn all the rewards for active players even if you don't do all of the tasks. So I'm more interested in how to make the most of the perks during the event!

I did not purchase the Gold Pass last time. I was very conflicted and I still am, as I have never paid money due to the fear of losing my steady stream of video ads. I make approximately 20 Tcash per day and 12,000 coins per day with the video man. Over a 30 day period that is about 600 Tcash and 360,000 coins. I would not make that back simply by buying the Gold Pass. For me, the decision to purchase would be based on the perks this time around, specifically the Generous Market (which I personally had not seen before), the Barn Expansion, the Factory Upgrade, and the Land Expansion, plus a decoration or skin that I really like. All of those combined might make me risk losing the video man for a month. But it still scares me!

If I do buy the Gold Pass, my strategy is pretty simple:

- Wait to upgrade the barn from now until that task pops up. Then use the free barn upgrade as soon as possible when your tools are depleted.
- When I get the generous market reward, add the Busy Trade booster that cuts the dealer's time in half and buy ore every half hour to stock up.
- When I get to the 40% helicopter bonus, add the Generous customer booster and send off as many high value helicopters as possible.
- Until the event starts I am working on upgrading coin value on factories I know give high coin amounts in the helicopter orders (Tailor Shop, Perfume Factory, Beverage Factory, Candy Factory, and Shoe Factory). This will be beneficial for the Double Reward Event that starts in 37 days too.
- Obviously, use the extra barn space to stock up for helicopter orders and run high-dollar factory orders.

You could run plantsx2 or factory reduction time to stock your spacious barn as well, but that's also a lot of work to keep up with and I think I am still worn out from Industrial Boom. zzzzzzzzz

Imo, Playrix is nuts to have ever given anyone that many ads. Others in that position did report losing the ads after buying the pass, tho others who did not buy the gold pass also saw their ads cut back.

Here are some rumors...

With the Gold Pass
- There will not be a helicopter/UFO skin this time but there will be a train skin and an express trains upgrade to make the trains move faster.
- Three different "spacious railcars" rewards, bringing more construction materials - 3x so maybe one for each train and it last until the end of the event.
- Unfortunately there will not be an increase in coins from helicopters this time. Instead it looks to have been replaced with an increase in crops throughout the event. Not nearly as good, IMO.
- The factory upgrade, town expansion, and barn upgrades are all part of the Gold Pass
- Reward to request building materials from your co-op.
- Lots of chat stickers :p

Without the Gold Pass
- Similar great rewards as last time (cash, coins, ingots, 40% crop time booster, etc) including a town expansion as the final reward
- You will be able to get the express train "portal" skin without the Gold Pass, just like the UFO landing pad.

What do you think? Is the Gold Pass worth it to you this time?

For those contemplating buying / not buying the gold pass. If the extra perks / stickers / skins don't tempt you, last time the Gold Only Rewards included more T-Cash, 192T more to be exact. The store normally sells 130T to $5.99 so the Gold Pass gave me more T-Cash plus all the other goodies. Something to include in your deliberations when we see what the rewards are.

There are already new train skins to be used. Just look in the upper left hand corner of the train button and you'll see the < - > This is where you can already change the skins of your train.

Oh cool! I didn't see that before. I have to admit the new ones look even cooler though, like sleek high speed modern trains.

I don't see those in my game. I see the skins feature added, but only the three current train looks. The fourth block says Coming in next Updates.

I found it most useful to wait until the event was ending to use the permanent barn upgrade, to help with the transition back to the actual barn size. We get so many of those temporary barn increases for the duration of the event, we can live without the upgrade increase until it ends and the temporary increases go away.

Yes, it helps a little to ease the transition. However, last time the temporary barn perks added over 1000 slots for me, which I somehow nearly filled up. The barn upgrade only added 75 slots so it was still a bit painful to get back under the limit

Prior to the last Professor's event, I was offered 5 ads to watch every hour and had been offered that every single day for as long as I could remember. I bought the pass and ALL ADS immediately ceased and didn't re-appear for about a month. Now, I'm back to 5 ads every hour, every day. So I'm hesitant to get the pass this time around.

Not that I'll be surprised if they look like these... the first looks like some animal being rushed somewhere and looking scared, lol.

I`m also counting days to start event. Love new look of the trains. But also try to lower my expectations to avoid disappointment if Playrix will add some "improvement" to the event. I hope it will remain exactly as it is.

I wasn’t getting many ads in the helicopter, now I have them constantly. I bought the gold pass last time and will do so again. I use the market man constantly renewing every time (think of it as paying for my entertainment and getting something helpful for it). Not sure if you can figure out from that why I get so many ads now. As an aside, I finished ALL the tasks from the last prof Verne and nothing spectacular happened. I’m not compulsive, I know I’m not! (My mother had me tested! Sheldon Cooper The Big Bang Theory)

I started building a Community building late in the event and held off finishing it until the last day of the event. Between offloading all the cb materials and the barn upgrade, it lowered my inventory enough to get below the real barn limit once the event ended. I guess zoo enclosure could be used the same way. There's also the option of using one if the temporary barn increase coupons to buy a couple extra days to reduce inventory if we need.

In the FB interview the Devs mentioned to be aware that players complained about finishing to early in the last last Professor's event (read: reached all achievements in a early stage of the event.
Devs were talking about 'looking in to that'...

Hope not, because they may do it worse. I got all rewords week before end but my friends in co-op need more time. On the end we all finished. One of the things of Vernon experiment was that it can be played relatively easy and even if you didn`t do all task of day or week you still can get all rewords.

I also thought of the many complaints we saw here from folks who had finished "early" and wanted to do more, get more rewards, and esp. wanted the time to be filled with tasks... wouldn't be surprised if Playrix listened to THAT, for a change.

The worst thing would be to make it so that getting all the rewards (i.e., Finishing...) was out of reach of many players. The really nice thing about the last time was that *everyone* could get to the finish even though there were some weekly tasks that could not be done by everyone, there was still more points available than were needed for the very last rewards. Please don't mess that up.

I suppose they could do what they do for events with a fixed number of "personal goals". Once you've finished and received all the "main line rewards" maybe they could do the "3 chest lottery" for any points that you get from the daily goals. I mean there'd still be a limited number of points because even with the daily goals there's a finite number of them. But at least there'd be some reward for even trying to go beyond the main rewards.

Yes to this. I was one of those players who just finished on the last day, and I needed those last couple of activities to complete it because of the ones I skipped. I'm hoping it stays reachable, rather than being more "challenging" like playrix seems to enjoy.
