no, I talked *about* them in our Coop chat (didn't mention "coop", cos there is indeed no other chat ingame), saying something like "look at the leaderboard, rank 1 is level 9", and when I directly then looked again at the board, they were lvl 12.
(hm, external chat - I don't do FB, but I think you could have its messenger or whatever open in a separate window/in the background..?)

Really enjoying this game! I am so glad they gave us a new challenge and it's a lot of fun. I love the piggy! Once you get the hang of how to aim you can take your time to line things up, I rarely miss now. I wish we could keep the tangerines tree as a crop they are pretty to grow.

This is so cool! I thought i was not good at this ge then suddenly i became expert. Now in 3rd place in the competition. Liked this game! I didn’t know that i have a talent on this! Haha

Delighted to hear it, Doc! I've always believed everybody has a at least one talent, it's just that some innate skills have more opportunity to show themselves than others. I secretly think I might've been a natural skydiver, or wood-turner, or snail-wrangler, had I only ever tried any of those things. Baha!

Hi all, I came first in my event winning a land expansion along with t cash and picture card , I cannot find where my land expansion prize is? Does anyone know where I should be looking?
Normally prizes go into storage box or into boost thingy but it’s not a boost and I’ve looked anyway,it’s not in storage, it flew off but I can’t find it to use it.
Can anyone point me to where I should be looking.

Just click on the next square of land you want to expand, and it should come up saying 0 tools/coin required.

Just tried tapping on an area near my factories but nothing happens.

Hi Vera: first you must find an expansion you haven’t bought yet - one with the $ Sign on it. Then your free expansion will work when you tap on it. If you don’t have any available expansions that you haven’t purchased, you will have to wait until one is offered in the next update.

Thank you Nana,it took me a while but I came to that conclusion having re read the wording on the prize,for some reason I thought I could pick anywhere and open a space...doh������ still it’s good to know I have it for future update.

The Global leaderboard just needs to be ignored. It means nothing. No extras, etc. As a matter of fact, it disappears when the event is over.
IMOP, Playrix has this rigged intentionally to get people to spend more cash.
It doesn’t work for me.
I placed 4th in this event and isn’t spend one bit of T-cash.
Had I not dropped out for 2 days, I probably would have placed at least 3rd place.
The person in 3rd in my grouping deserved it. I could have spent T-cash to gain that spot, but I don’t care about the profile pictures.
I was happy with 4th place and loved the event!

I find that really hard to believe. I think a person hoping for the Leaderboard would be far more likely to give up entirely in the face of a score of 477,000 than to spend the small fortune needed to compete with it.

So sad to see the piggy go I loved this game and can’t wait for the next new game.

I‘m playing this event, since it has started on saturday. In the first three days I always got between 9-12 envelopes per race. Now the number of possible envelopes decreased to 4-7. Has anybody else made this experience?

Not me - Mayfield and I have exchanged some experience numbers, starting here, in the thread about the event as regatta tasks. :)

Funny, I also realized they increased the number of the lanterns, now it depends on the difficulty in reaching the next rooftop

Mine were never as high as 12 envelopes. I have gotten 11 more than once, but they vary widely. Last night, I did a run with no envelopes to be seen anywhere. Usually, mine have ranged from 4 to 11. It took me 14 runs to collect 105 envelopes for the 135 task. Another person in my coop did it in 13. So, that makes an average of about 8 per run.

So then I was lucky in the beginning, but this kind of randomness seems a bit unfair to me.

I have noticed a drop in envelopes. Now I am getting runs with only a max opportunity of 4 more frequently. I just had three in a row which was never the case in my first few days of playing.

I guess before they double the points, they need to turn down the envelopes. Actually, it isn't clear what they mean for this event when they talk "event points". Double lanterns? Double envelopes? Both?


I actually came here to ask if anyone else had been betrayed by the binoculars in this event. I just trusted the green arrow instead of my instincts and missed. I remember that happening last year in this event as well.

I just wanted to warn people not to rely on the binoculars when leaping onto the moving platform. They get confused.

I think it‘s the lanterns only (respectively I hope so).

I made the same experience with the binoculars, for rooftops they are great, but one has to be very careful with the platforms. I always try to jump when they begin moving to the left, that works best for me

I jump just as the platform arrives at its nearest point. I very rarely miss it when not using the binoculars.

One of my coop members braved the 880 lantern task last night. She averaged about 40 lanterns a run!

Turns out the Double Play feature only affects lanterns, and not envelopes. At least now the related regatta tasks seem more reasonable :)

I agree with Monaco and Mayfield .... I always jump to the platform when it is moving towards me (to the left). It is very hard to overjump the platform. I seem to bounce back into it if I come close to overjumping it. I ALWAYS fall if I jump whi!e it is moving to the right.

I've been enjoying this event, mainly because I've been pretty good at it. I've figured out if I can get a decent arch on the jump and then point the tiny tail of the trajectory at the far (right) top corner of the next building I stick the landing even on the smallest buildings. I rarely miss - usually it is when (1) I hurry through because I have a 2x booster, (2) when I get distracted by the envelopes and don't line up like I said above, and (3) I'm trying for one of those envelopes high in the sky above the screen.

Has anyone figured out how to get those high in the sky above the screen envelopes? I cannot reach them. I've waited and waited for them to float down and they never do. The only "trick" I've been able to come up with is they seem to be the most reachable the second you land on the building. So if I jump immediately and go for them I can reach the highest one before it floats above the screen. Otherwise, it will never be in reach. Maybe I am imaging that? But that can also lead to a rushed trajectory and a crash and burn. Pesky little high floaters!

I hate this event. I haven't even made it to the end once. I have a whopping 20 points since I only play with the things I am gifted. I don't go out of my way to make them.

Give me a match 3 game any day.

There are definitely some high ones I can't reach. I am on a kindle (horizontal) screen and wondered if it was just me. Frustrating to know that they are there but out of reach! Lol And I think you are right about them being reachable immediately after you land on the roof and not later (after you have had time to aim)

Yes!

This is a glitch. If some envelopes get too high off your screen, then won't come back down UNLESS you jump straight up (try for no arches - just as straight up and down as you can) so the envelope is in view again (you may need to do this twice). Once it is recognized on the screen again, it will start moving down again :)

I really enjoy this event for itself. After finishing my five goals I was playing to use up rockets. Then I was so sad to be done I started making more rockets just so I could play some more.

I wish they would turn this one and the snowboarding into stand alone app games. I don't mean a big game that requires a lot of care and feeding from the devs, just one of those simple, stand alone apps we can play off line that costs $1.99 to install (or free with ads and $1.99 to get rid of ads).

Now, if only I could make those annoying locked treasure chests go away this game would be perfect. :p

I finished the Regatta yesterday and for that reason the Double Play starts too late.
But it was worth the wait on the start ofthis 2 days during event to finish the last level and win the decoration.
